FCLN-RAPC came together during the pandemic. At first, we held informal meetups to connect and discover our legal community. Then we incorporated as a not-for-profit in the spring of 2021, with the goal of connecting and supporting Filipino Canadian lawyers and legal beavers from coast to coast to coast. We are here for you so become a member and help shape our legal community.

FCLN-RAPC was founded by Richel Castaneda, Alicia Natividad, Barbara De Dios, Rachel Sachs and Lou Janssen Dangzalan following several discussions among groups of Filipino Canadian lawyers.

We strive to support and increase the growing number of diverse Filipino Canadians working in the legal industry across Canada.

Our goals include eliminating the barriers to entry for Filipino Canadians into the legal profession, improving diversity and inclusion in the law and legal spaces, and working for the advancement of our communities. We encourage and foster professional networking and development, entries into law practice and onto the judicial bench, advocacy, community and mentorship.
